São Paulo specifically, is not that violent, at all. I think the city is way more grey than tropical by the way, of course it has its green areas, but it’s not tropical paradise like some people think that the entirety of Brazil is. Visually, I think it gets São Paulo vibe, it’s a rich town, the biggest in Brazil by far, but it still has its poor parts. They being the main Brazilian characters, that annoys me, but it’s passable. When they speak “Portuguese” it’s sound completely Spanish, or “Portunhõl”, like us in Brazil like to call it, this mixture of Portuguese and Spanish that just sounds really bad. Let’s just get to it.įirst thing, it gets pretty clear that many voice actors are not Brazilian, the Brancos for example, in its entirety are not, Passos too. I will try to make this very short and objective, and focusing more on the things it does wrong, but it gets a lot right too. I am a Brazilian, and lived my entire life in São Paulo, just for clarification. I was really surprised how scarce are Brazilians talking about the game and how it handled Brazil, most specifically, São Paulo.
